A feeling of foolish or obsessively [meaning – in a way that involves thinking about something or someone or doing something, too much or all time] strong love for, admiration for, or interest in someone or something strong and unreasoning attachment. It is the state of being carried away by an unreasoned passion, usually towards another person for whom one has developed strong romantic or platonic feelings.

Infatuation is when you find somebody who is absolutely perfect.

Infatuation is when you first see someone that you are attracted to and immediately feel there is a connection based on that.

Is infatuation bad?

·         No there in nothing wrong with infatuation. In fact, most of us get infatuated at some point in our life. It’s the most normal thing.

How long can infatuation last?

·         An infatuation lasts between 6 months and a year. It could turn into a more serious relationship if it lasts beyond that. But people do realize even after a year that they are infatuated and it is not loved.

How do I know if it’s infatuation or love?
