An Interview with National Award Winner Mr. Tribhuwan Datt Maurya
The national award for teachers is the national award to teachers awarded by the president of India on 5 September every year to give public recognition to meritorious teachers working in primary, middle, and secondary schools in India.
The award is given to those teachers who have to improve the level of school education in a country. In the year 2009 President of India, Pratibha Devi Singh Patil presented the national award to teacher Mr.Tribhuwan Datt Maurya in the presence of HRD minister Kapil Sibal.
The award carries a silver medal, a certificate, and 25K INR in cash. Mr. Tribhuwan Datt Maurya is a good teacher and a strong communicator. He built strong relationships among their students and showed that they care about them.
As a benefactor, he denoted 80% of his salary to help the poorest students of the poorly equipped and overcrowded school who could not afford uniforms and books.
He said it was his resolve to work with dedication, selflessness, community regardless of all the challenges. He spent his whole life educating and helping students. Students say that he taught us good manners and he made our learning easy.
Besides teaching he is also kind-hearted for animals, he spent a small amount of his salary on the animal care department.
He devoted his whole life to teaching. Our society needs such a person who spent most of his life for the student.
